April 19

A man reported an unknown suspect forced open the front door of his residence in the 1300 block of North Buell Drive and took several of his belongings.

A woman told police she might have seen two men, who are wanted in connection with a double homicide in Arlington, at a restaurant in the 1800 block of East Kittleson Road. Police records indicate the report was “unlikely,” based on information that indicates the suspects are in another state.

A man reported his children used his identity to open a Grant County PUD account and he is now going to collections. The man said he wasn’t ready to make a formal complaint against his children.

Police contacted a woman in the 4300 block of Longview who allegedly stated her hot water heater was broken for more than week and she thought she would able to use the shower in the vacant unit next to her. The landlord of the vacant unit did not want to pursue charges against the woman.

Report of a juvenile stealing a candy bar from Walmart. The juvenile was with a woman, who has temporary custody of him, and her son. Loss prevention at the store recognized the woman’s son was previously trespassed from the store and the woman allegedly told him to run. Loss prevention will be reviewing video surveillance to validate the identity of the woman’s son. Store staff will be submitting information for charges of criminal trespassing against the son and aiding and abetting against his mother. The boy who stole the candy bar had a warrant out for his arrest and was booked into the Grant County Juvenile Detention Facility.

Report of a laptop stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot in the 200 block of East Broadway Avenue.

Report of two black cars with several men fighting in a parking lot in the area of East Wheeler Road and Bell Road. The suspects were gone upon police arrival.

A man reported his vehicle was hit while parked at Knolls Vista Elementary. The damage to the vehicle is estimated to be about $1,000. Police could not find the suspect vehicle.

Report of an unknown woman setting off alarms upon exiting Rite Aid. The woman was not located by police.

April 19

Harold Bretches, 31, of Soap Lake, was booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.

David Cervantes, 35, of Mattawa, was arrested and booked on a GCSC warrant.

Levi Godfrey, 25, of Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary and third-degree malicious mischief.

Dalia Becerra, 53, of Othello, was booked on a GCSC warrant.

Carlos Montoya, 37, of Royal City, was booked on a GCSC warrant and four Grant County District Court warrants.

Daniel Faucher, 26, of Yakima, was booked on a GCDC warrant.

Tesschia Zyph, 31, of Moses Lake, was booked on two GCDC warrants.

Calvin Wilhelm, 49, of Quincy, was booked for fourth-degree assault.

Jordan Tebow, 32, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections warrant.
