Report of a wooden statue stolen from a church in the 600 block of West Third Avenue.

A woman reported receiving a call from a person pretending to work for a bank. The woman didn’t give the caller any of her personal information.

A female said she was assaulted across from Peninsula Elementary School by three unidentified females. The woman said the assault was unprovoked and stated she didn't see or hear anyone prior to being struck from behind. The victim didn’t show immediate evidence of being assaulted, but complained of head and body pain. The incident is under investigation.

A woman reported someone entered her residence in the 1100 block of West Marina Drive through a window and stole a notebook.

Report of a suspicious person standing in a field on East Nelson Road. Police contacted the suspect who stated he didn't know how long he was in the field and said he didn’t intend to cause anyone concern.

A woman was arrested after attempting to gain entry into her neighbor’s apartment in the 200 block of West Nelson Road. The victim had an anti-harassment order against the suspect and she was booked into the Grant County Jail.

Police stopped a vehicle at Loop Drive and Central Drive for not using headlights. Two minors in the vehicle had a six pack of beer and a marijuana pipe. Officers will be recommending charges against the driver for minor in possession of alcohol.

A man was arrested after stealing a shirt and pair of socks from Walmart. Police learned the suspect had multiple arrest warrants and he was booked into jail.

Gang graffiti was reported at North Elementary School.

A student at Big Bend Community College was reportedly threatening suicide.

Three separate instances of fraudulent IRS phone calls were reported.

A woman reported that her dog had been attacked by another dog.

A suspicious person in a bright blue vehicle was reportedly getting into mailboxes.

A man reported that someone had broken into his shop.

A woman reported that her husband, against whom she had a restraining order, was at her residence hitting her vehicle.

A woman reported that her granddaughter was getting inappropriate phone calls and texts.

A possible DUI was reported on Dodson Road near Ephrata.

A man reported that his son was trying to break windows to get into the residence.

April 14

A woman reported that her brother was outside the residence trying to get in and arguing with her mother.

Cattle were reported running at large on the roadway.
