You are hereby summoned to appear within sixty days after the date of the first publication of

this summons, to wit, within sixty days after the 4th day of March, 2016, and defend the above

entitled action in the above entitled court, and answer the Petition for Condemnation of the

Petitioner Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington, and serve a copy of your

answer upon the undersigned attorneys for Petitioner at their office below stated; and in case of

your failure so to do, judgment will be entered against you according to the demand of the

Petition, which has been filed with the Clerk of the Court. The Petition seeks to condemn and

acquire the real property described as follows:

TWO STRIPS OF LAND OF VARIABLE WIDTH LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 9 OF TOWNSHIP 20 NORTH IN RANGE 27 EAST, W.M., GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON, DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY AS FOLLOWS:

Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Northwest quarter of Section 9; thence N 89°51’29” W along the North line of said Northwest quarter of Section 9 a distance of 589.82’ to a point on the Northeasterly right of way line of Neppel County Road and the True Point of Beginning; thence S 89°51’29” E along said North line of the Northwest quarter of Section 9 a distance of 80.84’; thence S 17°27’31” E a distance of 582.24’ to a point on the Northeasterly line of that land deeded to Grant County by the State of Washington per deed recorded at A.F. No. 1065347; thence N 42°29’06” W along said Northeasterly line of that land deeded to Grant County by the State of Washington a distance of 199.80’ to a point on the Easterly right of way line of Neppel Road; thence N 16°27’15” W along the East line of Neppel Road a distance of 425.72’ to the true point of beginning, having an area of 41,097.1 square feet, 0.943 acres.

Also, the following described strip:

Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest quarter of said Section 9; thence S 01°26’41” E along the East line of said Northwest quarter of Section 9 a distance of 1074.96’ to a point on the Northeasterly right of way line of SR 17 and the True Point of Beginning; thence N 42°29’06” W along said right of way line a distance of 543.54’ to the boundary of that parcel deeded to Grant County by the State of Washington by deed recorded at A.F. no. 1065347; thence N 47°30’54” E along said parcel deeded to Grant County a distance of 45.63’; thence S 17°27’31” E a distance of 35.18’; thence S 42°27’27” E a distance of 476.61’ to a point on the aforementioned East line of the Northwest quarter of Section 9; thence S 01°26’41” E along said East line a distance of 46.48’ to the true point of beginning, having an area of 16,349.3 square

feet, 0.375 acres.
