February 6, 1933 – March 26, 2016

Esther L. McAmis, 83, passed away on March 26, 2016. She was born to Ingvald Stalvik-Berg and Martha Inglestead-Berg of Everett, Wash. on Feb. 6, 1933, and graduated from Everett High School in 1951. She moved from Soap Lake to Wenatchee in 2002.

All who knew Esther knows that she was truly one of a kind. Her intellect, knowledge, creativity, and great sense of humor where undeniable. She was full of spunk and you just never knew what she would be up to next, but whatever it was it would be memorable. Her interests, ventures, and accomplishments in life are too numerous to list, for she was always seeking new outlets for her creativity and knowledge. She could be your steadfast friend or your most vicious foe, but for those she held dear she would give you her all. Thankfully she left behind a long trail of wonderful and unforgettable moments for everyone to remember her by. She was indeed a most remarkable woman and her shoes can never be filled – mainly because she had so many of them!

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be missed as much as she was loved. She will live on in the hearts of those she touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and she loved so much.

Esther is survived by her loving and supportive husband of 42 years, Richard McAmis; her three intelligent and beautiful daughters Madchen Sen, Renee Belisle and Nikki Keating; seven grandchildren Gabriel, Ashley, Tanner, Lily, Rumer, Brittney and Taylor; five great-grandchildren Piper, Odessa, Pandi, Tatum and Harper.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial and celebration of her life will be held this summer.
