Columbia Basin Health Association board names new chairman

OTHELLO — Miguel “Mike” Garza was named chairman of the board for the Columbia Basin Health Association at the CBHA’s annual meeting on March 22.
The Annual Board of Directors meeting was held at the Othello Family Clinic.
In addition to the officers, other members include Everett Cole, Maxine Taylor, Martin Gallardo, Deborah Buss, Enrique Miron, Ross Bushong, Maria Rosales and Pete Perez.
The Board meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m.
It governs the activities of the Association by establishing personnel policies and procedures, adopting financial management practices, evaluating health care and services, ensuring compliance with all laws and guidelines, and defining the Association’s service area.
