ESL classes offered in Royal City and Mattawa

SOUTH COUNTY – Classes for the Adult High School Diploma and English as a Second Language (ESL) are being offered in Mattawa and Royal City this fall, starting September 21.

Students can enroll anytime during fall quarter, according to Hope Candanoza of the Big Bend Community College program.

ESL classes provide instruction in beginning and intermediate English language skills and American Civics.

ESL classes will be held in Mattawa at the Inspire Development Center Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

In Royal City, ESL classes will be held in Royal Intermediate School on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-8 p.m.
