Notice is hereby given that the JARPA (Exemption from SSDP) and SEPA Checklist received on 05/11/15 from Laura Bowles were found to be technically complete on 09/04/15. Grant County expects to issue a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROPOSED MITIGATION MEASURES: 1) Limit the size of the project to the
minimum amount necessary. 2) Project will utilize hay bales and/or silt fencing to prevent materials from reaching the lake during shoreline work. 3) Best management practices for control of erosion and sedimentation shall be implemented for the project. PROJECT: The purpose
of the project is to correct the shoreline enforcement issue by taking the two piles of dirt removed from the shoreline area (to make a flat beach) and put them back restoring the gentle slope to the water's edge. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: None Known STUDIES
