PROJECT: A Short Subdivision of approximately 31.0 acres in order to create two (2) lots from one existing parcel in the Recreational Development zoning district of Grant County.

Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Subdivision application received by Grant County on August 21, 2015 from Vince Bryan (Designated Contact: Erik Angel, Knudsen Land Survey LLC, PO Box 505, 130 1st Avenue NW, Ephrata, WA 98823, 509-754-4376) was found to be technically complete on September 2, 2015. PROJECT: A Short Subdivision of approximately 31.0 acres in order to create two (2) lots from one existing parcel in the Recreational Development zoning district of Grant County. As proposed, Lot 1 will be approximately 9.06 acres in size, and is presently vacant. Lot 2 will be approximately 21.94 acres in size, and is also vacant. STUDIES REQUIRED: A Cultural Resources Survey Report for the subject area was submitted to Grant County on August 1, 2006 (File #06-4520). LOCATION: The subject parcel is known as Lot 1, Block 3 of Columbia River Reserve Phase 1 PUD. It is located approximately 5.50 miles west of the city limits of George, WA, and approximately 5.25 miles northwest of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Silica Road NW (Exit 143), and approximately 0.60 miles north of the intersection of Baseline Road W and Silica Road NW, and in the NE quarter of Section 31, Township 19 North, Range 23 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #05-0068-207). ZONING: Recreational Development. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. Office hours: 8 am-12 noon, 1-4 pm, M-F. Comments must be submitted to the Planning Department no later than 5 pm on September 28, 2015. Comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed or hand-delivered. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
