ROYAL CITY – The Desert Praise Quartet from Tri-Cities will perform a concert at the community picnic at the Riverside Community Church in Desert Aire on Sunday, Sept. 13.

The Desert Praise Quartet performs southern gospel. The members have been singing together for eight years and have sung in many places throughout the northwest.

Quartet members include Bill Nickless-Tenor; Richard Peterson-Lead; Ben Sandford-Baritone; Paul Daniel- Bass; Kern Kostenko- Keyboards; and Rebecca Daniel- Sound.

According to Riverside Pastor Dennis Evans, the Community picnic will start at 5:30 p.m. The Desert Praise Quartet will take the stage at 7 p.m.

The concert will be free. However, there will be a collection passed for those desiring to give a gift to the quartet.

The church is located at 5 Desert Aire Dr. SW, in Desert Aire. This is just inside the main entrance at the sign to Desert Aire. It is across from the gas station and motel.

The Quartet involves the audience in the music by asking audience members to sing along on songs they know.

“They love to sing praises and songs about our loving God, and our soon-coming King, Jesus,” Evans said. “The Quartet and the Riverside Church pray that the music will be a blessing to all.”
