Seed Cupboard Nursery Fall Festival set for late September
ROYAL CITY – The Seed Cupboard Nursery will have its 3rd annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 26, and it will bigger than the first two years.
This year’s festival is packed full of fun activities, Seed Cupboard owner Lisa Villegas said. The fun will start with tons of pumpkins from Super Sister’s Pumpkins, which is the Burke family.
Super Sisters will have pumpkins and gourds in all shapes and sizes. The Burkes will also bring their huge pumpkin cannon. And it will be demonstrated regularly.
“Come join the fun,” Villegas said.
Enter the annual scarecrow contest individually, with a group of friends or to promote your business with the scariest scarecrow you can imagine. Give Villegas at Seed Cupboard a call for more information at 509-989-0428.
The festival will have vendors, vendors and more vendors. More than 15, to be almost exact. Some have been at the festival before. Some are new. Let’s name a few:
A Place in Time Creations: Lisa Johnston, a local artist from Othello, will be selling fabulous paintings, aprons and other homemade items.
DB Artz: Debra Polito from Moses Lake will be Face Painting this year. This is always a favorite for the kids at the Festival.
Delayed Chic: The Delay women from Royal City return again this year. One of the favorite vendors, with their many unique talents, will be bringing refurbished and vintage items.
Val’s Vintage Vibes: Valarie Parrott from Moses Lake will bring her wide selection of vintage items.
BeElleNatural: Laura Scheib of Soap Lake will bring her homemade all natural goat’s milk soaps, lotions, sugar scrubs, lip balms & facial creams.
K & K Designs: Kelly and Kelly Delay of Royal City will bring beautiful handmade signs and refurbished furniture. The quality and precision of there signs is fantastic.
Kally’s Cotton Candy: Kally Carter from Royal City will be here spinning up some yummy cotton candy.
Dos Crafty Sisters: Lani Riojas from Moses Lake will bring handmade hair clips, bracelets, baby sets, purses, hats, crochets items and much more.
Kim’s Kreations: Master quilter Kim Mead from Royal City. You’d be well-advised not to miss these beautiful handmade quilts.
Vicki Rivers from Norwex Sales and Melissa Green from Thirty-one Gifts will also be here. J & K Rustics, Kelly Hughes and our own Painted Petal, Joleen Ervin will have rustic and refurbished items scattered throughout the barn.
Once again, festival goers will be able to enjoy the masterful culinary artistry of Michelle Smith and her Garden Grill. She will be cooking up awesome burgers, making fresh sandwiches and offering delightful fresh salads.
“There will be other vendors who are still finishing up the application process,” Villegas said.
And, as always, this will be sale time for many of the items Seed Cupboard has on display. Take a stroll through the nursery and barn to see the great end of the summer season sales and to see the new fall gift items and floral department.
