Make paper apples for Free Family Saturday

Children will be making paper-stuffed paper apples on Free Family Saturday.

MOSES LAKE — Stuffed apples - paper apples stuffed with paper, that is - are on the menu for Free Family Saturday this weekend.

Free Family Saturday is from noon to 2 p.m., or until supplies are exhausted, at the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center, 401 S. Balsam St. It's open to all ages. Participants cut out and paint the apple, then stitch it closed.

The Free Family Saturday program is supported by donations through the museum's membership program, sponsorships and the annual silent auction, according to museum staff.
