Notice of SEPA Appeal and Public Hearing

WinCo Foods is proposing to build a 58,285 SF grocery store and divide one parcel of an existing binding site plan into 3 new parcels. The site is located south of 1020 Stratford Rd, described as Parcel J, Big Bend Binding Site Plan; Parcel #09-0629-011, in the C-2 General Commercial Zone. A Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) was issued for the project on Oct. 2, 2015. An appeal of the MDNS has been filed with the Community Development Department.

The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on both the SEPA appeal and the binding site plan application on Nov. 12, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 401 Balsam Street. Interested parties are invited to attend and provide comment.

Written comments on this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the date of the public hearing. Submit written comments by mail to City of Moses Lake Community
