Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on October 16, 2015 from J&S Crushing LLC (Designated Contact: Tim Schwartz, 900 Chemical Drive, Kennewick, WA 99336, 509-727-6539) were found to be technically complete on October 23, 2015.

Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on October 16, 2015 from J&S Crushing LLC (Designated Contact: Tim Schwartz, 900 Chemical Drive, Kennewick, WA 99336, 509-727-6539) were found to be technically complete on October 23, 2015. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROPOSED MITIGATION MEASURES: None. PROJECT: This proposal is for the construction of three (3) approximately 3,000 sq. ft. steel buildings for wine storage on an approximately 13.81-acre parcel in the (AG) Agricultural zoning district. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permits. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject area is a portion of Parcel #03-1309-000. The subject area is approximately 2 miles northwest of Mattawa, WA. It is also located approximately 1000 feet west of the 22.1 Rd SW and State Route 243 intersection, and is in the northwest corner of Section 27, Township 15 North, Range 23 East, WM, Grant County, WA. PRESENT ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
