ACTIVE WATER RIGHT CHANGE/TRANSFER APPLICATIONS
Public Notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Water Conservancy Board has received three (3) Applications for Change/Transfer and has accepted them for processing.
Middleton Family Farms, 1441 Pasco-Kahlotus Rd., Pasco, WA 99301 has applied to add points of withdrawal and add place of use under Ground Water Certificate No. G3-24312C with a priority date of January 31, 1975; authorizes 1400 gpm, 744 acre-ft., for irrigation of 142 acres, January 1 to December 31.
The existing point of withdrawal is within: NE1/4 of Section 14, T.9 N., R. 30 EWM. The existing place of use is within: the NE1/4 of Section 14, T.9 N., R. 30 EWM and as described in certificate.
That they propose to add two (2) points of withdrawal located within the NW1/4 SW1/4 of Section 14, and NW1/4 NW1/4 of Section 23, T.9N, R.30 EWM.
They proposed to add irrigated acres to the existing place of use to be located as follows: SE1/4 of Section 14, and the NE1/4 and SW1/4 of Section 23, T.9N, R.30 EWM.
Middleton Family Farms, 1441 Pasco-Kahlotus Rd., Pasco, WA 99301 has applied to add points of withdrawal and add place of use under Ground Water Certificate No. G3-28778C with a priority date of June 11, 1990; authorizes 2,500 gpm, 1,120 acre-ft. for seasonal irrigation of 280 acres, and 2 acre-ft. for continuous domestic supply and stock watering.
The two (2) existing points of withdrawal are within: NW1/4 SW1/4 of Section 14, T.9 N., R.30 EWM. The existing place of use is within: SW 1/4, W1/2SE1/4 and W1/2E1/2SE1/4 of Section 14, T. 9 N., R.30 EWM and as described on certificate.
That they propose to add two (2) points of withdrawal located within the NE1/4 of Section 14, NW1/4 NW1/4 of Section 23, T.9N., R.30 EWM.
That they proposed add irrigated acres to the existing place of use located as follows: NE1/4, NW1/4 and SW1/4 of section 23, and NE1/4 of section 22, All within T.9N, R.30 EWM.
Middleton Family Farms, 1441 Pasco-Kahlotus Rd., Pasco, WA 99301 has applied to add points of withdrawal and add place of use under Ground Water Certificate G3-20251C(A) with a priority date of June 2, 1972; authorizes 1,210 gpm, 556 acre-ft., for irrigation of 139 acres, February 1 to October 31.
The existing point of withdrawal is within: NW1/4 NW1/4 of Section 23, T.9 N., R. 30 EWM.
That the existing place of use is within: Section 23, T.9 N, R. 30 EWM and as described on certificate.
That they propose to add two (2) points of withdrawal: NE1/4 and NW1/4 SW1/4 of Section 14, T.9 N., R. 30 EWM.
That they propose to add irrigated acres to the existing place of use located as follows: NE1/4 of Section 22, T.9 N., R. 30 EWM.
TAKE NOTICE:
Under WADOE Rule WAC 173-153 and other agency regulations, any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50) recording fee and filed with the Cashiering Section, State of Washington, Department of Ecology, P.O. Box 47611, Olympia, WA 98504-7611 within thirty (30) days from the last date of publication.
Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the Water Board regarding this application. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the Water Board held to discuss or decide on the application. Comments should include: name, address, and phone number of commenting party; identification of the change/transfer receiving comments; and detailed information or documentation to substantiate facts presented within the comments. All comments are noted within the Report of Examination and Record of Decision affecting the subject application. This application will be on the Water Board agenda during its regular meetings, contact the Water Board for meeting schedules.
