EPHRATA — A support fund has been established at Granco Credit Union in Ephrata to assist Grant County PUD employees (and their families) injured last Thursday in the explosion at Priest Rapids Dam.

According to PUD publicist Thomas Stredwick, all immediate needs were being covered by Grant PUD including: lodging, transportation, meals, etc. Additional help will be needed.

According to Stredwick, this support fund will be made available to injured employees and their family members for any remaining assistance beyond what the PUD is providing.

Those who would like to help, may send their contributions to Granco Credit Union at: PO Box 127 Ephrata, Washington 98823 or make them in person at the Ephrata location: 217 Alder St. SW Ephrata.

All donations should be earmarked “Priest Rapids Family Fund.”
