CRMP 2014-02 / Hendricks Bridge #370-8.25 Repair

Franklin County Public Works is inviting and requesting bid proposals for CRMP 2014-02 / Hendricks Bridge #370-8.25 Repair. The project provides for the removal of the two (2) existing outside 32’ panel-girders, replace with single span prestressed concrete girders, install traffic barrier, install impact attenuators, repair damaged wingwall, maintain a detour route, perform minor road work, and other related work. This project is approximately 8.25 miles west from the intersection of SR-260 West and SR-17 on Hendricks Road, in Section 17, Township 14 N., Range 22 E., WM.

Sealed bids shall be marked with the project name and number and be addressed to the Franklin County Commissioners. Bids will be received at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, Franklin County Courthouse, 1016 N. 4th Ave, Pasco, Washington, 99301 until 8:45 AM, Wednesday, November 4th, 2015, and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud during the regular County Commissioners meeting after 9:00 AM. Bids shall be submitted only on the proposal form provided with the specifications.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total contract amount.

Informational copies of maps, plans and specifications are on file for inspection in the Office of the County Engineer of Franklin County in Pasco, Washington and the Tri-City Construction Council in Kennewick, Washington.

The Franklin County Public Works Department in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.

The Franklin County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved make the award to best serve the interests of Franklin County.
