NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR CHANGE OF WATER RIGHT NOS. CG3-28949C@2, G3-29381(A), CG3-25083C@2, CG3-25081C@2, G3-26155(C), and G3-29162(B)

TAKE NOTICE: That on 7/23/2015, Segale Properties LLC of Tukwila, WA filed applications with the Grant County Water Conservancy Board (GCWCB or board) to change/modify the above identified water right authorizations. Applications identified as GCWCB Nos. GRAN-15-06, GRAN-15-07, GRAN-15-08, GRAN-15-09, GRAN-15-10, and GRAN-15-11, respectively. Also identified by WA Department of Ecology (Ecology) Nos. CG3-28949C@3, CG3-29381(A)@2, CG3-25083C@4, CG3-25081C@4, CG3-26155(C), and CG3-29162(B), respectively.

That with a priority of 2/7/1991, CG3-28949C@2 [the "B" Portion only, which is the portion not enrolled in the state trust program] issued for 350 gallons per minute (gpm), 122.5 acre-feet per year (af/yr), for seasonal irrigation of 35 acres. That the current place of use is described as N1/2NE1/4 and North 165 feet of S1/2NE1/4 of S19, T17 N, R28EWM. That the current source locations are described as three wells within the SE1/4NE1/4 and NE1/4NW1/4 of S20, T17 N, R28EWM and NW1/4NE1/4 of S19, T17N, R28 EWM. That for GRAN-15-06 the

applicant requests to change the place of use to: "35 acres of irrigation within the N1/2NW1/4 S27, T17N, R27EWM."

That with a priority of 1/27/1993, G3-29381(A) issued for 1500 gpm, 525 af/yr for seasonal irrigation of 150 acres. That the current place of use is described generally as being within NW1/4 of S21 and NE1/4 of S19, all within T17N, R28EWM, complete description available upon request to board. That the current source locations are described as three wells (same well sites as CG3-28949C@2). That for GRAN-15-07 the applicant requests to change the place of use to

be, generally described, within the E1/2SE1/4 of S19 and the W1/2SW1/4 of S20, T17N, R28EWM; and within the N1/2NW1/4 S27, T17N, R27EWM; complete description available from the board upon request.

That with a priority of 10/8/1976, CG3-25083C@2 (under Report of Examination dated 6/16/2009) issued for 1700 gpm, 510.9 af/yr for seasonal irrigation of 370 acres. That the current place of use is described generally as being within NE1/4, S1/2NW1/4 and SW1/4 of S20, EXCEPT SE1/4SW1/4 thereof; SE1/4 and E1/2SW1/4 of S19; and NW1/4NW1/4 of S29; all within T17N, R28EWM all lying north of the canal; complete description available upon request to board. That the current source locations are described as three wells (same well sites as CG3-28949C@2). That for GRAN-15-08 the applicant requests to change the place of use to

be, generally described, within NE1/4, S1/2NW1/4 and NE1/4SW1/4 of S20; together with a portion of the NE1/4 of S19; all within T17N, R28EWM; and NW1/4 and N1/2NE1/4 of S27, T17N, R27EWM; and NW1/4NW1/4 of S26, T17N, R27EWM; complete description available from the board upon request.

That with a priority of 10/8/1976, CG3-25081C@2 (under Report of Examination dated 6/16/2009) issued for 900 gpm, 280 af/yr for seasonal irrigation of 190 acres. That the current place of use is described generally as being within the N1/2NW1/4, SE1/4NW1/4 and NE1/4SW1/4 of S20; and SW1/4 and W1/2SE1/4 of S19; all within T17N, R28EWM; complete description available upon request to board. That the current source locations are described as three wells (same well sites as CG3-28949C@2). That for GRAN-15-09 the applicant requests

to change the place of use to be, generally described, within the N1/2NW1/4 and SE1/4NW1/4 of S20; NE1/4 and a portion of the SE1/4 and a portion of the SE1/4NW1/4 of S19; and a portion of the NW1/4SW1/4 of S21; all within T17N, R28EWM.; complete description available from the board upon request.

That with a priority of 2/9/1979, Permit No. G3-26155(C) issued for 788 gpm, 339.5 af/yr for seasonal irrigation of 97 acres. That the current place of use is described generally as being within a portion of the N1/2 of S25, T17N, R27EWM; complete description available upon request to board. That the current source is a well located within SW1/4NE1/4 S25, T17N, R27EWM. That for GRAN-15-10 the applicant requests to change the place of use to be, generally

described, within a portion of the N1/2 of S25 and within a portion of the SE1/4 of S24, all within T17N, R27EWM; complete description available from the board upon request (same place as use as requested by GRAN-15-11). That for GRAN-15-10 the applicant requests to enable

irrigation of additional acreage, specifically to increase irrigated acres to 159 acres (same 159 acres as requested under GRAN-15-11). That for GRAN-15-10 the applicant requests to add

a purpose of use for preservation of groundwater resources (trust water right) within the ground water aquifer in Grant County, WA.

That with a priority of 12/13/1991, Permit No. G3-29162(B) issued for 612 gpm, 126 af/yr for seasonal irrigation of 36 acres. That the current place of use is described generally as being within a portion of the SE1/4 of S24, T17N, R27EWM; complete description available upon request to board. That the current source is a well located within SW1/4NE1/4 S25, T17N, R27EWM. That for GRAN-15-11 the applicant requests to change the place of use to be, generally

described, within a portion of the N1/2 of S25 and within a portion of the SE1/4 of S24, all within T17N, R27EWM; complete description available from the board upon request (same place as use as requested by GRAN-15-10). That for GRAN-15-11 the applicant requests to enable

irrigation of additional acreage, specifically to increase irrigated acres to 159 acres (same 159 acres as requested under GRAN-15-10).

Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the board regarding the application(s). The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the board held to discuss or decide on the application(s). The application(s) will be on the board agenda during its regular meetings, contact the GCWCB for time and location of meetings. Additionally, the board will consider written comments or information provided within thirty (30) days from the last date of publication of this notice, said written comments or information to be provided to its offices located at 4975 Road 13.5 SW, PO Box 761, Royal City, WA 99357.

Any protests or objections to the approval of the application(s) must be filed with the Department of Ecology and for each application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50) recording fee for each application protested and must be filed with: Department of Ecology, Cashiering Unit, PO Box 47611, Olympia, WA 98504-7611 within thirty (30) days from October 14, 2015.
