Sun Terrace 2 & 4 Major Plats: Aho Construction submitted applications to alter 2 preliminary plats on Sept. 29. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on Oct. 12. The proposal is to move the boundary between 2 plats by 100', alter the street layout, decrease the number of lots by 12, and increase the public park by 3 acres. The preliminary plats were originally approved in 2008. The site is zoned R-1, Single Family Residential, and located west of Fairway Drive, east of Road F, and north of I-90 and Sun Terrace No. 1, Assessor Parcel #11-0065-203 & 205. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 16: Buildings and Construction, Title 17: Subdivisions, Title 18: Zoning, and Title 20: Development Review Process.
The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on the proposed alterations on Nov. 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 401 Balsam Street. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment on the proposed alterations.
Written comments on these alterations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the date of the public hearing. Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or the final decision, on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in MLMC 20.11, Appeals.
