Molly Rae Matsumura
Molly Rae Matsumura was born Dec. 4, 1997 in Spokane, Wash. and passed away on Oct. 3, 2015 at the age of 17 in Prosser, Wash. She had lived in Prosser for 15 years.
Molly is survived by her parents Bruce and Gail Matsumura and brother Sam Matsumura, grandmother Arlene Miller, uncles and aunts Allen and Shan Miller and Judy and John Filler, cousins Brandon (Amy) Miller, Justin (Kelly) Miller, Britt (Aaron) Burke, Taylor (Daneka) Bomar, Evan Filler and Nikki Filler. Molly was preceded in death by her grandparents Kiyoshi and Sue Matsumura and Edwin (Bud) Miller.
Molly was a student of Prosser High School and Prosser Falls High School. She loved people. If she knew you ten minutes she knew your life story. Her heart went out to any and all who were treated unfairly. She loved showing steers in 4-H and FFA, being social with her friends, movies, riding horses, running and rescuing orphans of all kinds, especially kittens!
Services will be on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 500 N Elm Street, Grandview, Wash. A time of fellowship and dessert will follow at the Prosser High School MPR, 1203 Prosser Avenue, Prosser, Wash. A burial service will be held on Saturday, October 10 at 3 p.m. at the Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Wash.
