Delia M. Vasquez

Delia M. Vasquez, 66, a resident of Moses Lake, passed away Thursday evening, Oct. 29, 2015 at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by loving family. Viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3 at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Holy Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Our Lady of Fatima followed by Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Guarding Angels Cemetery, 2595 Road L NE, Moses Lake.

Delia was born in Agujita, Mexico on Aug. 10, 1949, daughter of Tomas and Alvina (Cruz) Toledo. She was married to Miguel J. Vasquez on Dec. 30, 1973 and they have made their home in Moses Lake for over 35 years. She worked for years at Carnation Potato Plant and Nestle before retiring. As a mother, her children were blessed to have had her; her grandchildren adored her. She was involved in the lives and activities of her children and grandchildren, always reminding them how proud she was of them. Her heart and home were open to people in need. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Delia is survived by her husband of almost 42 years, Miguel Vasquez, Sr.; children Delia Vasquez, Miguel Vasquez, Jr. and Reynaldo Vasquez; son-in-law Eliazar Ramos and daughter-in-law Michelle Vasquez; grandchildren Esperanza, Jerry, Michael III, Danny, Mariela, Michael IV, Devon, Leilani, Brianna, Julian, Adrian and Carlos; mother Alvina Toledo; sisters Elida Toledo and Berta Toledo; brother Tomas Toledo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tomas and a sister, Guadalupe Toledo.
