Vivian Shrewsbury, 91, a longtime resident of Moses Lake, Wash., died on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. She was born Vivian Martin on March 10, 1924 to Milford and Maude (Haydon) Martin in Garfield, Wash. She attended school there for a time before moving to Colfax, Wash. where she completed her education. On July 13, 1955 she married Virgil T. Shrewsbury at Thompson Falls, Mont. The couple lived in Ephrata, Wash., and later moved to Moses Lake.
Vivian is survived by a daughter, Ann Kirihara of Spokane, Wash., a son, Dennis Johnson of Moses Lake, Wash., a stepdaughter,Lynne Stinette of Portland, Ore, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Virgil, and her stepdaughter, MarJean Kelly of Luddington, Mich. Funeral arrangements are by Jones and Jones-Betts Funeral Directors, Wenatchee, Wash.
Vivian requested that there be no services held in her honor.
