Notice is hereby given that a SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on May 01, 2015 from Andy Jensen (Designated Contact: Vincent Barthels, 422 W Riverside Ave. Suite 304, Spokane WA) was found to be technically complete on May 08, 2015. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROPOSED MITIGATION MEASURES: 1) Placing gravel in areas with anticipated vehicular traffic and seeding barren cut slopes to help with erosion. 2) Use of water trucks during grading activities to minimize dust. 3) Best management practices will be implemented to ensure minimal to no adverse effects on wildlife will result from the proposed project. 4) Project shall comply with the mitigation plan of the Wetland Delineation. PROJECT: Construct a potato storage facility with a footprint of 86-ft. by 330-ft. within the northern most portion of the site. The project includes mitigation measures outlined in the wetland delineation which was required for the project. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permit STUDIES REQUIRED: Wetland Delineation LOCATION: The situs address is 21530 Rd 3 SE which is located approximately 5 miles North of Warden, WA, and is half a mile east off Rd U. The property is located in the Southern portion of Section 15, Township 18 North, Range 30 East, WM, Grant County, WA. Parcel #31-1976-000. ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
