Wahluke girl golfer sets personal record

MATTAWA - It was another lean day for the Wahluke High School golf program at a SCAC meet in Goldendale last week. Only one Warrior boy and two Warrior girls played.
The good news was that Lizbeth Agapito shot her best round of golf ever with a 127. Her previous best was 137. The second Warrior girl, Zuri Quevedo, shot 134. In boys action, Juan Lopez shot 130.
Because of the lack of players, Wahluke did not score as a team. Cle Elum posted the best boys team score with 348. Andrew Gerchak of Goldendale was the medalist at 77.
The girls team winner was Naches with 473. Anuka Capps of the Ranger was the medalist with 98.
