MLIRD Used Equipment FOR SALE

The Board of Directors of the Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District has by Resolution 2015-003 surplused a 2006 CAT CS-423E 14,800lb, 83HP, soil compactor w/blade and have set a base bid price of $40,000. Approximately 608 Operating hours on unit.

1. No Warranties or Representations: MLIRD makes no warranties or representations regarding this equipment and this equipment is being sold “as is.”

2. Terms of sale:

a. Minimum bid price: $40,000.00

b. Bidder must submit with bid certified check in the total amount of the bid.

c. Winning bidder will execute acknowledgement that sale is made on an “as is” basis without warranty or representation, and a representation that the purchase is not made on behalf of any unidentified person or principal, and that no MLIRD employee or official has any interest in the purchase.

d. Purchaser will be responsible to pay all excise and other taxes, charges or fees arising from the purchase.

4. Time and Place of Bid Opening: Bid opening will be Monday, April 20th, 2015 at

10:00 a.m. at the MLIRD office at 932 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake WA 98837.

All bids must be received at the office of MLIRD, 932 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake WA 98837 no later than 10:00 a.m. on April 17, 2015. Bid time is kept by MLIRD’s official bid clock in the front office. Late bids may be excluded from consideration unless it is determined that no competitive advantage could have been gained.

5. Right to Reject All Bids: This request for bids is not an offer. Submitted bids are offers

to contract. MLIRD reserves the right to reject all bids for any reason and reopen bidding.

6. Terms of Advertisement Controlling: The terms of this advertisement control over

any inconsistent terms in the bid packet.
