North Franklin School District (NFSD)-Pesticide Notifications

North Franklin School District (NFSD)-Pesticide Notifications. In accordance with RCW 17.21.415, NFSD has adopted a policy to remain in compliance with annual notifications. NFSD will be applying pesticides throughout the year, primarily from March through October to manage vegetation and pests periodically around school grounds and in the Greenhouse for the Ag Program. All products are used according to label specifications registered by the EPA and are labeled for school application. NFSD will post a 48 hr notice in advance prior to applying. Records of pesticide applications, annual summary reports and storage records will be available by request by contacting the NFSD Maintenance & Operations Department at (509) 234-6441. If you wish to be placed on a Sensitive Persons Registry for pre-notification, please contact the Department of Agriculture at (877) 301-4555.
