Royal Golf Course releases schedule

ROYAL CITY - Royal Golf Course Pro Randy Puetz has announced the preliminary schedule of tournaments for this year.
Puetz asks you to look it over and inform him if any of the dates conflict with other community events. You may contact him at royalcitygolf@centurylink.net.
Puetz said the final schedule will be announced within a couple of weeks.
The season will kick off on April 18 with the annual Spring Field Day, a four-player scramble.
U.S. Open Day, when the RGC has ball-gobbling rough, will be held on June 20. It commemorates the real U.S. Open which, this year, is being played at Chambers Bay in western Washington.
U.S. Open Day will be individual play.
The next tournament, held in conjunction with the Royal City Summerfest, will be Summerfest Glow Ball on July 11.
Dog Days of Summer, a two-person scramble, will be played on August 22.
The season will close on Oct. 10 with the Harvest Open two-player chapman.

Oct. 10 - Harvest Open
