OTHELLO - The Othello Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inviting the public to its "Come Unto Jesus" Cantata on Thursday, March 26.

The cantata, a song-filled worship service, will get under way at 7 p.m. at the Othello Stake Center Chapel, 1200 East Rainier Ave. Othello.

"It will be a program of music and narration celebrating the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ," church member Ardis Whitaker said. "The story will be told through the eyes of Mary, the Mother of our Savior Jesus Christ."

Some of the songs will be: Beautiful Savior, He Sent His Son, When Mary Sang Her Lullaby, Jesus Once Was a Little Child, I Know That My Savior Loves Me, Close Enough to Touch, He Lives and For We Saw Him.

The Easter Cantata will include solos, duets, adult choirs, young men's choirs, young women's choirs, and children's choirs from Warden, Othello, Royal City and Mattawa. Music will be provided through song, piano, flute and violin.

"Everyone is invited to join in this celebration, so please come and enjoy an evening of music and word in honor of our Savior, Jesus Christ," Whitaker said.
