Chris Widener to keynote Lincoln Day Dinner

MOSES LAKE - Chris Widener, world-renowned motivational speaker, will give the keynote address at the Grant County Republican Party's Lincoln Day Dinner on Friday, March 20 at the Grant County Fairgrounds.

This Republican gathering will be held in the 4-H Building, starting at 5:30 pm. The general public is welcome.

"Chris will have you laughing one minute and learning timeless truths of success the next," Grant County Republican Chairman Sid Gregory said.

Also speaking will be Bill Bryant, King County, Seattle Port commissioner, and James Walsh, vice chairman of the state GOP. Attendees will also hear from State Senator Judy Warnick and Representative Tom Dent, both of Moses Lake.

The Lincoln Day Dinner, named in honor of the first Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, is a traditional fundraiser and yearly Republican gathering in counties across the Country.

There will be silent and live auctions of many special items including; a free bowling night at Lake Bowl for 40 people, a ton of hay and a ton of beans, tours of the state capitol in Olympia and meetings with Representatives Tom Dent and Matt Manweller.

Music will be provided by Luke and the Drifters.

"We are very fortunate to have such a nationally recognized speaker as Chris Widener coming to Moses Lake" Gregory said. "We are looking forward to a critical election in 2016, and money received from ticket sales and auction items will be used by the Grant County GOP to help local and state candidates and to put a Republican in the White House."
