March 16, 1934 ~ March 3, 2015

Beverly Ann Novelli, age 80, was born March 16, 1934 and went to meet Our Lord March 3, 2015.

Beverly was a sassy little spitfire that usually had red hair and loved life and everyone in it. She was married five times and dated some of the richest men in the U.S. She was kind and loving to everyone and would give you her last dime if needed. If you made the mistake of making her mad, wow! The red hair would glow bright along with her temper. Run for your life if you're smart. My sister and I would shinny up a tree until we could make her laugh and it was safe to come down. She did mellow with age, fortunately.

She loved the Lord and people and if we were traveling from here to Timbucktoo and ran out of gas, she would pray to the Lord and not only would someone help us, but they'd feed us sweet rolls and coffee too.

She was never prejudiced (except concerning her kids). She loved red shoes and she laughed a lot. One time she got us laughing so hard at a funeral, we had to leave.

She was very talented and had a voice like an angel (some compared her to Barbra Streisand). She traveled with a jazz group and sang her way through most of the U.S.

She met many people who love her to this day. She could talk to anyone and make them feel good about themselves. It worked good in a restaurant, because they'd always give us extra helpings. Mama worked as a mental health technician, a nanny, and for fun, a barista for Samaritan Hospital (she ran the place!!). Mom loved animals and was always bringing home strays. She was a very loving mom and grandmother and would protect you with her life.

We had a wonderful celebration and early birthday for mama with all family present five days before her passing. She was alert and laughing the entire time. Her survivors are very sad and they include: daughter Georgia Lavoy and husband Gordon, Bari Odom and husband Dennis; grandkids Andy and Arin Lavoy, Callie and Shaun Moberg, Brandi and Dom Garcia, Jesse and Colleen Odom, Katie Odom and Derrick; great-grandkids Tory, Sonny, Reagan, Riley and Jayden; friend Barb Jacobs; faithful companion and sidekick Evey the Weinie Dog.

We love and miss you so much, Mom!
