NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHT UNDER

ONE (1) SURFACE WATER RIGHT NO. 6033

TAKE NOTICE:

That CPM Development Corporation, of Pasco, WA, has made application for change/transfer of water right in order to add three points of withdrawal and change the place of use as granted under Surface Water Certificate No. 6033 (S3-*13026C), application number FRAN-14-08.

That Water Right No. 6033 authorizes the diversion of 1.1 cubic feet per second, continuously, for gravel washing.

That the authorized point of diversion is from the Columbia River located within Government Lots 4 and 5 of Sec. 12 T. 9 N., R. 28 E.W.M. and the authorized place of use is within Government Lots 4 and 5, Section 12, T. 9 N., R. 28. E.W.M.

That they propose to add three wells to be located as follows: 2 wells within the SW¼SE¼ and one well within the SE¼SE¼, all within Section 12, Township 9 N., Range 28 E.W.M., in Franklin County.

That they propose to change the place of use to the W½ of Section 7 Township 9 N., Range 29 E.W.M. and the S½ of Section 12, Township 9 N., Range 28 E.W.M., in Franklin County.

Under WADOE Rule WAC 173-153 and other agency regulations, any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50) recording fee and filed with the Cashiering Section, State of Washington, Department of Ecology, P.O. Box 47611, Olympia, WA 98504-7611 within thirty (30) days from the date of publication.

Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the board regarding this application. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the board held to discuss or decide on the application. Comments should include: name, address, and phone number of commenting party; identification of the change/transfer receiving comments; and detailed information or documentation to substantiate facts presented within the comments. All comments are noted within the Report of Examination and Record of Decision affecting the subject application. This application will be on the board agenda during its regular meetings, contact the board for meeting schedules.
