Meeting Thursday for CTE at Royal

ROYAL CITY - Royal School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) will have its annual meeting on Thursday, March 5, at the Royal High School shop. It will get under way at 7 p.m.
According to Royal School District Activities director Andrew Perkins, one of the meeting goals is to gather community input about the direction of the FFA programs at the high school and middle school.
Perkins will introduce community members and speak about the FFA's current direction. Ag teacher Rick Kannely will speak about current and proposed courses. Both will speak about future infrastructure needs.
Perkins said the CTE Committee with evaluate and make recommendations regarding curriculum, facilities, equipment and supplies. It will also address current industry needs.
