ROYAL CITY - The Royal School District preschool, Growing Great Learners, graduated 67 children on to kindergarten next year at its annual graduation ceremony in May.

"We met all of our goals for the year," Director Jeannie Enriquez said. "The kids were really enthusiastic."

The Growing Great Learners Preschool is funded by a yearly grant from Washington Fruit. WF started as a pilot program, evaluated it and decided to maintain it.

Growing Great Learners is a two-day program for the students.

Half attend on Mondays and Thursdays. The other half attend on Tuesdays and Friday.
