REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

ASSESSMENT AND DESIGN FOR

CRP 612 – FRANKLIN COUNTY SAFETY

– ROADSIDE IMPROVEMENT

Franklin County is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from consultants with expertise in design of rural roadside safety improvements located throughout Franklin County, Washington. This project is funded using a federal grant.

The Consultant will identify previously selected roadway sections that can be constructed to current design standards and meet the criteria set in the federal Highway Safety Improvement Program’s (HSIP) - 2014 County Safety Programs grant. The proposed work will include but is not limited to surveying of existing conditions, design of shoulder widening along said roadway sections, environmental assessment and documentation, identify and obtain permit(s) (if any), identify and obtain temporary construction permit(s), provide complete design services including completion of plans, specification, and cost estimate, coordinate with landowners, utilities, WSDOT, and FHWA, and have knowledge and experience with the requirements and procedures of FHWA federal grants.

The deadline for this RFQ is 3:30 PM on Wednesday, July 1st, 2015. Earlier responses are welcomed.

All prospective consultants must be advised that federally funded projects will be held to Federal EEO requirements.
