| June 3, 2015 6:00 AM

ROYAL CITY - Readers of all ages will explore Heroes of all kinds during this year's summer reading program, themed "Unmasked," at the North Central Regional Library branch in Royal City.

The same program and schedule will apply at the George and Mattawa branches, according to Royal City librarian Shannon Stewart.

Weekly activities will include story times, puppet shows, the Pacific Science Center and crafts, she said.

Sign-up for the summer reading program begins on June 8. The program will continue until school starts at the end of summer. There will be prizes.

All children will receive a lanyard for their library card, a reading record and a book mark when they register. Prizes will be awarded for time spent reading or being read to.

There will be a weekly drawing for a chance at winning a stuffed animal and book.

The kick off program will be held on Tuesday June 16 at 10:30 a.m. with Storyteller Deb McVay.

For more information call the library at 346-9281.
