Second day of Travis visit reveals hard-working airmen
There is a lot of room inside a C-17 cargo plane. Honorary Commanders look closely at the interior, while a crewman explains the tie-down system to an interested HC.
Cargo can be loaded using the ramp of a C-17. The aircraft seen in the distance is a KC-10, which we hope will be stationed at Fairchild AFB in the future.
