Notice is hereby given that a JARPA (Shoreline Substantial Development) application and a Discretionary Use Permit (DUP) were received by Grant County on July 24th, 2015 from Public Utility District of Grant County No. 2 (Grant PUD), (Contact: Igor Shaporda, PO Box 878, Ephrata, WA 98823); and was found to be Technically Complete on July 27, 2015. PROJECT: To improve the Burkett Lake Recreation Area, including: 1) ADA Accessible Toilet; 2) Ingress and Egress Elements; 3) Entry and Traffic Control Signs; 4) Day Use Access Road; 5) Day Use Picnic Tables; 6) Recreation trails; 7) ADA Accessible Fishing Pier. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: None SHORELINE DESIGNATION: Recreation. SEPA: Grant County PUD issued a DNS on 6/12/15 for this proposal; no additional SEPA Review is required. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The project area is located approximately _ mile East of Beverly, Washington on the South side of Lower Crab Creek Road. The site is located in the southern half of Section 35, Township 16 North, Range 23 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #15-0300-003; 15-0299-000. ZONING: Open Space Conservation. Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm August 31, 2015 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. All persons, agencies or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.
