MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: The cutting and filling of approximately 2,200 cubic yards of earth for the purpose of creating an approximately 800,000 gallon water retention pond on a 81.4-acre parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. The subject area is a portion of Parcel #21-1854-000. The subject area is located approximately 1.3 miles west of Soap Lake, WA, and approximately 1.26 miles west of the intersection of 20 Rd NW and St. Andrews Dr. NW, and in Section 26, Township 22 North, Range 26 East, WM, Grant County, WA.

After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department, Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned.
