ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE $975,000 - $1,000,000.00

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Warden, 121 South Main Street, Warden, Washington 98857, up to 2:00 PM; local time on July 23, 2015, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct Industrial Way.

This Contract provides for two (2) schedules of work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Standard Specifications:

SCHEDULE A: INDUSTRIAL WAY ROAD, FROM WEST 1ST STREET (SR 170), TO APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET SOUTH:

This Schedule provides for the construction of approximately 2,000 lineal feet of Industrial Way, from West 1st Street (SR 170) to the scheduled end of road including, but not limited to, clearing and grubbing, excavation, backfill, compaction, and grading, crushed surfacing materials, commercial HMA asphalt, storm sewer pipes, precast concrete drywells, catch basins, concrete traffic curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, concrete driveway entrances, permanent signing, paint lines, traffic control, and all other appurtenances required to complete the work.

SCHEDULE B: WATER MAIN:

This Schedule provides for the installation of approximately 2,200 lineal feet of 16-inch water main on Industrial Way, including, but not limited to, excavation, backfill, compaction, connecting to the existing water system, fittings, valves, hydrants and all other appurtenances required to complete the work.

The basis of award shall be the lowest combined total of schedules A and B.

The Work shall be physically complete within 60 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Warden, Washington.

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order, or bid bond payable to the “City of Warden” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.

Contract Provisions and Contract Plans may be examined at Warden City Hall, local plan

centers in the project area, or the office of the Project Engineer, Gray & Osborne, Inc. Licensed Contractors and Material Suppliers may obtain a copy of the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans, free of charge, in electronic format (PDF on compact disk(s)) along with registration as a planholder only at the Yakima office of the Project Engineer, Gray & Osborne, Inc., 107

include company name, physical address, phone and fax numbers, and email address. Registration as a planholder is required to obtain Contract Addenda. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.

Financing of the Project has been provided by the City of Warden, Washington and the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board and the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program with federal funds from the Environmental Protection Agency. The City of Warden expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interests of the City.
