NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF GROUNDWATER

TAKE NOTICE:

The Port Of Royal Slope has made an APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER of a Water Right to expand the area of use of Ground Water Permit G3-28180 to the Board. The board has designated such application for active Board review assigning it a number of GRAN-15-03. The Department of Ecology has assigned tracking number CG3-28180@4 to this application.

That Ground Water Permit G3-28180P with a priority date of June 23, 1986 has current authorization for 2250 gallons per minute, 2400 acre-feet, annually, for Commercial and Fire Protection. The place of use being those portions of E1/2 Sec 12, T16N, R25EWM, and Sec 7 excluding the S1/2SE1/4SE1/4 of Sec 7 and Sec 8, and Sec 9 in T16N, R26EWM, lying south of State Route 26; and the NW1/4NE1/4 and Government Lots 1 and 2, in Sec 18, T16N, R26EWM. The authorized points of withdrawal being three wells located: 1] 25 feet NE from S1/4 corner of Sec 7; within SW1/4SE1/4; 2] NW1/4NW1/4 of Sec 18; and 3] NE1/4SW1/4 of Sec 8, T16N, R26 EWM.

The proposed change is to expand the area of use to: Those portions of Sec 7, 8, and 9 in T16N R26EWM lying South of State Route 26; and E1/2 of Sec 12 and 13 in T16N, R25 EWM lying south of State Route 26; and Sec 18, T16N R26 EWM; and N1/2 Sec 16 and 17, T16N, R26 EWM; and N1/4 of Sec 19, T16N, R26 EWM. A map showing the proposed new place of use is available for public review at the Port of Royal Slope 4975 Road 13.5 SW Royal City, WA during business hours.

Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the board regarding this application. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the board held to discuss or decide on the application. Additionally, the Water Conservancy Board will consider written comments or information provided within thirty (30) days from the last date of publication of this notice, said written comments or information to be provided to its office located at Post Office Box 761, 4975 Road 13.5 SW, Royal City, WA 99357.

Any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections. Protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50.00) recording fee and filed with the Cashiering Section, State of Washington, Department of Ecology, PO Box 47611, Olympia WA 98504-7611 within thirty (30) days from July 8, 2015.
