NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Port of Moses Lake is seeking a qualified contractor to construct EMERGENCY ACCESS ROAD REHABILITATION (AIP PROJECT NO. 3-53-0039-041) at Grant County International Airport at Moses Lake, Washington.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Port of Moses Lake is seeking a qualified contractor

to construct EMERGENCY ACCESS ROAD REHABILITATION (AIP PROJECT

NO. 3-53-0039-041) at Grant County International Airport at Moses Lake, Washington. The major construction elements for the project include approximately 7,800 square yards of pavement pulverization, approximately 6,000 tons of crushed surfacing base course, and approximately 1,900 tons of asphalt pavement and miscellaneous pavement marking.

Sealed bids shall be addressed to Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street NE Suite

200, Moses Lake, WA 98837, and will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time, on July 16,

2015, and then will be publicly opened and read. Bids submitted after the above-specified time shall not be received or opened.

Drawings and Specifications may be examined at Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street NE Suite 200, Moses Lake, WA 98837, (509) 762-5363; and at the offices of the Engineer, Precision Approach Engineering, Inc., 119 Grand Avenue, Suite D, Bellingham, WA 98225, (360)733 1567, or 5125 SW Hout Street, Corvallis, OR 97333, (541)754 0043.

A copy of the Documents may be obtained from the Engineer's Corvallis office upon payment of $50.00 for each Document. Return of the Documents is not required, and the amount paid for the Documents is nonrefundable.

This contract is for a public work subject to the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries, and/or the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141, et seq). The Bidder must agree that the requirements and conditions of employment be observed and minimum wage rates as established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor or the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, whichever is higher, be paid under the Contract.

No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the PORT OF MOSES LAKE unless the Bidder is registered with the Washington State Department of Licenses, as required by RCW 18.27.

An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on July 7, 2015, at the Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street NE Suite 200, Moses Lake, WA 98837. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference.
