DESERT AIRE - Residents of Desert Aire and the surrounding areas are invited to the riverfront community to celebrate the Fourth of July.

The Annual Desert Aire Golf Car Parade will take place on Saturday, July 4, at 4 p.m. It will form at the Sage Brush Senior at 3 p.m. so that judging may be completed by 4 p.m.

The Sage Brush Senior Center is located at 23 Desert Aire. Root Beer Floats will be available for sale for $1 in the center prior to the parade.

The parade route will go down Edgewater and Desert Aire Dr. to the park and then back to the senior center.

"Get your cart all decorated, bring lots of candy to toss to the spectators on the parade route, join in this wonderful community activity and show our patriotism," SBSC President Kathy Meredith said.

For questions, you may call Meredith at 509-932-4496 at home, and her cell is 509-770-0626.
