January 18, 1993 - January 18, 2015

Christian Nathaniel "Chris" Guerra, 22, longtime Moses Lake resident, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Samaritan Healthcare, his 22nd birthday. He was born January 18, 1993 in Delano, Calif. to Alfredo "Fred" and Sonja (Roberts) Guerra.

Christian was raised in a large, loving family and his family and friends were everything to him. He was raised a perfect gentleman and was respected by everyone that knew him. Christian was a very active person; he made many friends, who were part of his life in elementary school until his passing. He loved football and basketball, which was his 2nd love; he played both on Moses Lake school teams. His favorite pro football team is the San Francisco 49ers. He would wear anything that had the 49ers logo on it; some would say he was a "die-hard fan". He loved to go fishing, it was his way to relax and enjoy the outdoors - whenever the weather was nice, weekends or after work, he would be out fishing. He also enjoyed hunting with his friends, and he loved to draw. Christian always cared about looking good, and was always dressed for every occasion. He had a love and passion for music; he enjoyed writing, singing and recording music with his friends. He graduated from Moses Lake High School and attended Lane Community College to attain some college credit, and most recently worked for Genie (Terex) Industries on the assembly line.

Christian is survived by his mother Sonja Guerra, grandmother Carol Steinberg, Godchild Sophia Raelynn Martinez LaGrave, siblings Freddy and his wife Donna Guerra, Lucy Guerra, Ruben and his wife Ida Guerra, Norma and her husband Ernie Medina, Rudy and his wife Cindy Guerra, Anthony Guerra, Mikka and husband Tom Jameson, BJ and his wife Kayla Guerra, Jobette Guerra and Sarah Guerra; nieces Desire, Suzanne, Miranda, Denise, Ryanne, Valerie, Vanessa, Nikki, Cheyenne and Jaylee; nephews Ruben Jr., Timothy, Joey, David and Michael, and numerous friends and extended family who dearly miss his wonderful smile and his love for them.
