Porfiria G. Ybarra

Porfiria (Pila) G. Ybarra, 87, a long-time resident of Warden and Cheney (in her later years), passed away peacefully on January 15, 2015 at Cheney Care Center.

She was born on February 26, 1927 in Mercedes, Texas, the daughter of Martiliano and Leandra (Sanchez) Gutierrez. She is survived by her children, Gilberto (Twila) Hernandez; Geneva (Juan, Jr.) Ybarra; Gregg (Sandi) Ybarra; Bito Jr. (Julie) Ybarra; Gloria (Rick) Johnson; Jorge (Crystal Sullivan) Ybarra; two brothers, Ramiro Gutierrez of Hollister, CA and Tomas Gutierrez of Gilroy, CA; twenty grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bito V. Ybarra Sr.; her sister, Francisca Gutierrez; her brother, Francisco Gutierrez; and her granddaughter, Shanna Kay Hernandez.

Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 19, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 North Dale Road, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Pioneer Memorial Gardens.
