NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE & RE-SCHEDULED PUBLIC HEARING
Wahluke Industrial Park Plat: To develop a 18 lot subdivision from 37.9 acres (two parcels) in the Urban Light Industrial and Urban Commercial 2 Zones.
Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: Wahluke Industrial Park Plat: To develop a 18 lot subdivision from 37.9 acres (two parcels) in the Urban Light Industrial and Urban Commercial 2 Zones. A variance has also been applied for to allow a reduced front setback on a proposed lot in the UC2 zone (20', code requires 35'). Location: The project site is located in the northwest corner of the intersection of Rd. 24 SW and Hwy 243, immediately west of the City of Mattawa. The site is further located in a portion of the SE _ of Section 34, Township 15 North, Range 23 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #s 31-3508-000 & 15-0224-025.
After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department, Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned.

Additionally, Notice is hereby given that both the Variance and Subdivision applications submitted by Port District No. 3 (Contact: Jeff Curtis, PO Box 956, Mattawa, WA 99349) have been scheduled for a Public Hearing before the Grant County Hearings Examiner at 12:00pm noon, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the Commissioner's Hearing Room of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA.
