Bradley Allen Beuckman

| January 20, 2015 3:00 AM

May 4, 1960 - Jan. 9, 2015

Lifelong Moses Lake resident Bradley Allen Beuckman (Brad) passed away January 9th, 2015 at the age of 54, due to complications of heart failure. Ironically, it is Brad's huge heart that will be most remembered by others. His quick wit, subtle sense of humor, and friendly personality endeared him to everyone who knew him.

Though born in Seattle on May 4th, 1960, Brad loved Moses Lake and the Columbia Basin for everything from the hunting and fishing to the close-knit community. He would leave only for a vocational electrician program in Yakima and the Seattle area or the occasional out-of-town construction job. Following a long career as a journeyman electrician, Brad worked at Big Bend Community College as an electrician in the Maintenance and Operations Division since 2005.

An avid outdoors man, Brad often ventured from the Basin and its wildlife for further adventures such as big game hunting in Alaska and fishing for Tuna and more in the deep-water's off the Pacific Coast.

Brad's mother, Cherie Beuckman, also a long-time Moses Lake resident, passed away in 1998. He is survived by his father, Robert Orin Beuckman Jr. and step-mother June of Redondo Beach, CA; sister Shellie and Ali Sadr of Bellevue; and brothers Robert Beuckman III of Seattle, Brett and Tracy Beuckman of Mount Vernon, and Dion and Staci Beuckman of St. Louis, MO. Also missing Brad are his many nieces and nephews who reveled in his sense of humor and family, including: Tina, Reina, Aundrea, Bijan, Gabe, Abbi, Marley, Kai, Justin, Kameron, Myia, Michael and Sam, as well as the Deane Family of Moses Lake and Tri Cities, plus his lifelong and recent friends.

A Celebration of Brad's life will be held at Kayser's Chapel in Moses Lake at 3 p.m. Friday, January 23rd followed by a reception at Jamison's Event Center. In lieu of flowers an expression of sympathy may be sent to Big Bend Community College Foundation or American Heart Association.
