The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request from the Port of Moses Lake for Federal assistance to construct a Fire Suppression System Replacement in Moses Lake, Grant County, Washington.
The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request from the Port of Moses Lake for Federal assistance to construct a Fire Suppression System Replacement in Moses Lake, Grant County, Washington. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), EDA is conducting an assessment of the potential of the proposed project to affect the environment and/or historic properties.
The project includes construction of a new pump house. The pump house will be a steel structure of approximately 2,800 square feet (40' x 70') and will house two fire pumps. The project also includes terminating an existing water line connection and creating a new connection with a City of Moses Lake water line. The project will be located on Tax Parcel # 17-1017-000, situs 8987 Graham Rd NE, Moses Lake, Washington 98837.
