Carolina Gonzales, 67, was born May 27, 1947 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Esequiel and Carolina Moron. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 9, 2015 surrounded by her family. She lived in Othello with her husband of 50 years, Johnny Gonzales.
Carolina loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. Her passion for life created memories for family and friends every time we were with her. She loved deep sea fishing, camping, sewing, baking beautiful cakes, building forts with her grandchildren and she would be there to help anyone in need. We all remember her feisty, fearless and strong personality along with an amazing ability to tell a story that would captivate you. She was loved by many and never knew a stranger. She will be greatly missed.
Carolina is preceded in death by her father Esequiel Moron and mother Carolina Moron, brothers Mario Moron, Pablito Moron, Jose Luis Moron; sisters Lenda Mariscal, Irene Moron; nephews Alfonso Rodriguez and Charles Parks.
She is survived by her husband Johnny Gonzales, Othello; sons Jesse Gonzales, Kennewick, Rick Gonzales, Othello, David Gonzales, Othello, and Steve (Gloria) Gonzales, Kennewick; eight grandchildren Monique, Jonathan (Kiana), Gyeric, Conner, Tyler, Clay and Ian; two great-grandchildren Leviticus and Aleah; brothers Esequiel (April) Marone, Roy (Anna) Leyva; sisters Delores Guzman, Mary (Tony) Diaz, Isabel Sifuentez; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick with viewing Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
