Myrtle Witherspoon

| January 9, 2015 3:00 AM

Dec. 9, 1919 - Jan. 4, 2015

Myrtle Witherspoon, 96, passed away Sunday from complications of pneumonia.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Rex and Trish, granddaughters Tiffany, Marisa and Morgan, great-grandsons Theo, Ben and Max, who all live in the Seattle area.

Myrtle was born in Wilbur in 1919. She spent the most of her earlier growing up years in Ovando, Montana on her parent's ranch. She has been a resident of Moses Lake for the past 50+ years.

She was an avid golfer and gardener and will always be remembered for, amongst many other things, her delicious chocolate chip cookies!

Myrt always had a smile at the ready and was blessed with a remarkable endearing wit. She will be sorely missed by all the people whose lives she has touched. She always had an inherent "goodness" about her.

A celebration of life will be held at the Methodist church, next Tuesday, January 13th at 11:00 am. The church is located at 746 S. Ironwood Drive in Moses Lake.
