Deputy, dog to give demo

EPHRATA - Visitors to the Grant County Historical Society heritage luncheon next Tuesday, Jan. 13, will hear about and see a Grant County Sheriff drug dog in action.

According to the Society's Rita Mayrant, sheriff's deputy Bo Leamans will appear at the lunch with his K-9 partner. That should be right around noon.

The GCHD will have its regular Board Meeting at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Post in Ephrata at 276 Eighth Ave NW.

If you wish to have lunch ($5), you are asked to call the Legion after 1 p.m. at 754-2761 or Rita Mayrant at 750-4555. The public is invited.
