Benefit dinner for Lisa Barth Saturday

MOSES LAKE - The benefit dinner to help cover medical expenses for Champion 4-H Club leader Lisa Barth is coming up on Saturday.
"For the Love of Lisa" will be taking place at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Columbia Basin Elks Lodge, located at 814 N. Stratford Rd. in Moses Lake.
The benefit dinner is aiming to raise funds to cover medical expenses for Lisa Barth, of Quincy, who is a long-time member and supporter of the Champion 4-H Club.
Barth was rushed to the hospital for treatment in August with internal bleeding and received emergency surgery. Barth was later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where she underwent numerous surgeries for about two months, according to a previous Columbia Basin Herald report.
The Champion 4-H Club and the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce are partnering to make the event possible.
The fundraiser will feature a silent and live auction from 5 to 7 p.m. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.
The Rock'n B Cloggers perform at 7:15 p.m.
Tickets to the fundraiser are $40 for a single person, or $75 for two tickets.
Tickets can be purchased at the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce office in Moses Lake, located at 324 S. Pioneer Way.
